Knowing your Audience
As a writer it is very important to know who your audience is. Knowing your audience is the first thing you should find out when you write a paper because knowing your audience will determine if what you are writing or how you are writing will make since to whoever you are writing for. I always had a problem with papers because I did not know who I was writing it for. I wrote my papers as if I was just writing it to my instructor. My instructor would see that I have a good paper but to many different languages that would reflect on different audience. I never knew what the teacher was talking about when they told me to indentify who I was writing the paper to. I thought they were talking as if I was writing it to one of my fellow class mates and to pick one. I learned recently how difficult it is when you write a paper and it is not meant for you it is harder to understand. I was in the ICC studio where I had my paper read. One and Done was the title it’s about college basketball rule, the instructor that read it liked the paper but wasn’t in love with the title because stated who would know about one and done unless I elaborated on it. I told my papers audience was college basketball fans that want to see the rule change she instantly knew what I was going for and said my paper made more since know because it wasn’t for people that are not in to sports.

Dr Wilson has been studding this situation of books being absolute for some time his opinion is “Books have been supplanted by computers and hand –held video players as a source of mobile entertainment, resulting in the decline of reading for pleasure. The digital revolution has wrought changes at least as important as the printing pass. The early 1980’s saw a technical revolution that may have changed the pictures today” (Wilson). In the 21 century most of the youth today’s does not like to read books. Reading has become absolute because all of the technology around when I was young the only major distraction was T.V. and maybe video games. Now you have computers that are way advance now growing up people did not be on the computer all day, they did what they had to do and got off, now you have face book and twitter and other programs that keep this younger generation occupied. Just to keep up with technology people have tried to make stuff to make reading fun and to get the young ones interested in reading but so far that has failed with a lot of the younger generation. The only thing that the young people like to read is face book statuses and twit updates and taxing between each other. The question is what will happen to reading if this happens how will it become interesting? Will it become interesting again, will the younger generation start to get back into reading like my mother loved it when she was young. As we go on in life things are really starting to get high-tech will reading really become absolute?

Writing
Growing up before I knew how to type a little I use to hate writing papers especially when it had to be longer than two papers. I use to look at it like a punishment as like I had to write lines. When I was force to type a paper I would write it first than type it. That method was hard for me because first I would lose my place and it would take time for me to find it and next I could not type to save my life. I hit the key one at a time so you know it took me a long time to do a paper and knowing me I wait to the last minute to do it. The big problem came later because if I had a four page paper on paper but when I put on the computer it would be a two page paper, I would think I did a good job but then I still have more work to do and for a while my mind would be blank and I can’t say I’ll get some more information tomorrow in school because when I finally typed it, it’s due the next day I am all messed up. I seem to get through it after a while but look at what I went through and usually get a “C” or “B-” not my best I would happy but my mom never likes to see my settle for less. Now I have another lecture coming should of did it right from the beginning

As a writer a have many problems when I start a paper. The first problem is what am I going to write about, for a while nothing comes to mind and do not know how to start my paper. After a while when I finally figure out a topic and start the paper then I start to wonder and I going to have enough information to meet the requirements the instructor has given and will I be able to get enough pages. Doing the pages a lot of stuff is going through my mind is this going to be a good paper and is the teacher going to like it, and am I’m going to have good sentence structure and punctuation. You see I am not the best writer I do not like dealing with it, I feel like writing a research paper will not help me in life I’m not going to be writing for the newspaper. I plain to be constructing building in the work field, so I do not really put my all when I start a paper. Sometimes I have a lot to say and be following with thing to say but then I meet the paper requirement and I start to shut down not wanting to put it all down scared to go beyond the assignment. My mom use to always tell me that would hurt me in the long run when we use to argue about me taking the extra mile to help myself grow I guess she was right like always.

Chicken pox
Chicken Pox has effected everybody once upon of time when they were younger. These are the symptoms you will notice when it is time for the chicken pox. As a kid you will catch chicken pox at least once in your childhood it is unavoidable it is just one of those optical you will have in your life. First Chicken pox usually occurs once in your child hood if you’re careful as a child. Being careful means as a child you are viable to catch chicken pox from other kids even after you have had it and it’s gone. As a kid you don’t know better to not be around a person with chicken pox but your parents should be looking out for you so that you won’t be affected again. Chicken pox can be passed down by touching a child anywhere that has Chicken Pox. Another way you can catch the pox is by touching the same object as the child did or through the air if the person sneezes or coughs. How you will notice if a child has the pox is that they force red bumps all around your face. The poxes are very itchy and make you scratch a lot even though scratching is bad and it makes the itching worse. You usually have to take a lot of bathes to stop the itching and instead of using lotion it is better to use cocoa butter with the itching too. After a couple of week it starts to wear off and the red bumps go away and the inching stops then you go back to doing everything you use to do. Once it’s over you usually don’t have to deal with chicken pox any more. These are the symptoms and ways to prevent chicken pox from spreading again in your life as a child.

Big and Small
In America we have a lot of small cities but the major cities stand out the most. A lot of the small cities are a nice place to live because of the community. The big cities have more things to do and more jobs to offer. The two cites I will talk about is Chicago and Peoria. Chicago is the biggest city in Illinois; Chicago is known for its sky line and better known for the second tallest building in the world the sears tower. In Chicago there is a lot of traffic the streets are always busy because of the big population. In Chicago the bus line is always running and constantly around to pick up passengers that are going to work or going out with a friend. Are school system is not the best but there are a lot of school’s that your child can pick from. On a non positive note we have a lot of gangs’ violence where a lot of kids are expose to gun violence and get shot down every day. Being in a big city can be a challenge every day and if the big city life isn’t for you can go to a small city. Peoria is a small city in Illinois it is a nice place to live. Peoria is not known for their skyline or tall buildings, but there known for the company Caterpillar. Caterpillar is where a lot of Engineers go to work and the company gives out a lot of jobs. Peoria has a lot of small towns around it that are apart of Peoria, and to get to most of your location you have to take the high way. The bus service in Peoria is not better than Chicago bus service; in Peoria there buses come every thirty minutes and do not run on Sundays. Peoria has fewer schools than Chicago they don’t have the opportunity to choose between many schools. Chicago and Peoria are not that different in some areas but the size differences of the two cities make those areas very little. Being in Chicago you have to be at a fast past everything is at a fast past. Peoria is a slow past city where people are a little slower.

Response and feedback
It has been a tuff time for me and my writing. I just don’t get it sometimes I think I have an “A” paper and then the instructor tells me it is not what she or he was looking for and my paper needs some adjustments. The problem I have I have good ideas and good thoughts but a lot of errors that distract the reader from how good the paper actually is. I had a instructor that tried her best to help me she loved my papers but I had a lot of errors where I had fragment sentences or run on sentence I even had problems with punctuation and miss spelling. She said it was a good paper I just needed to fix the sentence structure and correct the mistakes it would be a great paper she told me that it was very amusing it made her laugh and she was able to get into the paper a little bit, but she had to stop to correct my mistakes she had a lot of good things to say to encourage me to work harder to do a good paper. Writing is not my best subject for the longest growing up I hated typing and doing papers, I would rather write it on a notebook and turn it in. A lot of teachers told me that I have a wild imagination that I should use it to put in the papers. I have received a lot of good feedback that will make me a better writer
